2013 Cover Shot Photo Contest Winners

Thanks so much to all who entered and participated in The Denver Foundation’s 2013 Cover Shot Photo Contest. We hoped to receive and share images of Metro Denver “Powering Generosity,” and that is what you gave us!

While there were many wonderful shots, the following were selected by our five professional photographer judges. Congratulations on these great shots!

First Place winner – “Learning to Love Learning,” by Todd Van Fleet for Family Star Montessori School. The six word story behind the photo states, “Life long learners and friends forever.” They have elected to have the $300 grant dedicated to Family Star.

Second Place winner– “Fix Your Bikers Working Hard at the Bike Depot,” by Theo Stroomer for the Bike Depot. The six word story behind the photo states, “We bring people together through bikes.” They have elected to have the $100 grant dedicated to Bike Depot.

Third Place winner– “Lettuce Maestros,” by Adam Brock for the GrowHaus. The six word story behind the photo states, “African student leaders practicing food justice.” They have elected to have the $100 grant dedicated to GrowHaus.
