Below are organizations that received TA awards for Fund Development. One purpose of this site is to encourage potential grantees to contact previous applicants to determine wast made their project successful; who they interviewed; if they had to do it over again, what would they do differently, etc. So look for an organization with whom you would like to connect and explore their process for selecting a consultant, designing the activities, and share your story!

Seven Ways To Get Friendly With Foundations

Relationships are probably the biggest key to how a grant is made. This is true whether it’s a relationship that plays out over the phone, the Internet, or over breakfast every other Tuesday. Program officers and other grantmakers want to develop relationships with nonprofit organizations, especially the ones they might fund or are funding.
