The circle is focused on supporting AANHPI communities most in need. Please see the findings from Colorado Lotus. Special consideration will be given to BIPOC-led organizations that take a culturally responsive approach to their work.

About the donor

The Colorado AAPI Circle is a collective giving circle formed in 2021 that envisions an authentic, visible, and interconnected Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi Communities. The Colorado AAPI Circle was created to fill an important role in the philanthropic and foundation ecosystem within Colorado: to believe in, support, expand, and invest in AAPI-centric initiatives and create civic opportunities for Colorado’s AANHPI individuals wherever they live in The Centennial State. In addition to traditional grantmaking, the Colorado AAPI Circle has commissioned a statewide needs assessment study (The Colorado Lotus Study), in order to connect AANHPI populations with much-needed philanthropic investments for the foreseeable future.
