The Denver Foundation’s investment performance is consistently strong, in good times as well as bad. The Foundation’s Investment Committee reviews recommendations and reporting from our investment advisory firm, NEPC. Our approach is moderately conservative, designed to grow charitable assets over the long term and avoid the extremes of the market.
We’ll work with you to determine the investment strategy that will best achieve your objectives.
Long-Term Balanced Pool
The majority of Denver Foundation funds are invested in a unitized investment pool that includes highly diversified investments across a number of asset classes managed by over 50 fund managers. This pool has exceeded 8 percent growth over the last 10 years.
Sustainable and Responsible Investing
The Denver Foundation offers a Sustainable and Responsible Investing (SRI) Pool for donors interested in aligning their investing with their values. This pool is separate from the Foundation’s unitized portfolio and invests in a mix of socially responsible mutual funds.
Index Pool
The Index Pool is a broad investment portfolio of passive investments designed to provide long-term asset growth.
