Leonard and Elizabeth Baylinson Musical Scholarship (UA)

The Leonard and Elizabeth Baylinson Musical Scholarship was created to provide scholarships for economically disadvantaged students to pursue an undergraduate degree in music.

Leonard Baylinson was a musician during his lifetime and spent over 30 years as the piano player at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, CO, and was a published composer. Elizabeth Baylinson established this fund at the age of 93 and received a large bequest from a friend. Elizabeth was already financially secure and decided a better use of the funds would be to support young people pursuing their dreams.
