As Assistant Controller of The Denver Foundation, Valerie manages the accounting operations function of the Finance & Accounting department. She is responsible for providing accounting services to the entire foundation. She served as Controller of a nonprofit health care organization prior to joining the foundation and has over 25 years of experience across diverse industries, including community foundation, health care, banking, and restaurant franchising. Valerie is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, graduating summa cum laude, and a Master of Science in Accounting.
