RBC Wealth Management Colorado Scholarship (UA)


The RBC Wealth Management Colorado Scholarship provides opportunities for post-secondary education to outstanding Colorado high school seniors pursuing a degree in science, mathematics, or engineering. This highly competitive scholarship rewards students for exceptional achievement, above and beyond their peers.

Eligibility

  • Graduating Colorado high school senior
  • Planning to enroll full-time at an accredited post-secondary institution in the U.S. in the fall of 2026
  • Intending to pursue an undergraduate degree in science, mathematics, or engineering
  • Cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.75+
  • Have a score of at least 31 composite on the ACT OR a reading and writing and math combined score of 1,400+ on the SAT
    • While some schools are test-optional, applying for this opportunity requires that you provide scores from your ACT or SAT as stated above

Selection criteria

Applications will be reviewed based on:

  • Academic performance
  • Extracurricular activities and leadership
  • Commitment to the field/passion for the work
  • Financial need
  • A strong aptitude for science, mathematics, or engineering

Award details

  • Scholarship Range: $5,000
  • Typical Number of Awards: 5
  • This scholarship is a one-time award
  • Award amounts may be used toward the recipient’s tuition, fees, and other required educational expenses
  • All scholarships will be paid directly to a recipient’s post-secondary institution. Award disbursement is contingent upon the outside scholarship policies of a recipient’s post-secondary institution
  • Award must be used for the upcoming academic year

NOTE: Students who have a relative (parent, step-parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or sibling) who is employed by RBC Wealth Management or The Denver Foundation are NOT ELIGIBLE for this scholarship.

How to apply

  2. Log into TDF Scholarship Manager and apply for the Universal Scholarship
  3. Prepare and submit the following items:
    1. List of all extracurricular activities you have had
    2. Transcript  
    3. ACT and/or SAT scores
    4. Response to the following prompt(s):
      1. What would you like to study after high school? What inspired your interest in this area? What do you hope to achieve with a degree in this field? (5,000 characters or approximately 800 words)
      2. Think of the one thing you are most passionate about. What sparked that passion, and how has it impacted your life? (5,000 characters or approximately 800 words)
