As the Senior Director of Policy, Partnerships & Learning, Dr. Janet Lopez seeks to deepen relationships with nonprofit leaders, donors, and policymakers throughout Metro Denver and Colorado to increase the foundation’s impact on critical needs and solutions to those needs. Dr. Lopez is a seasoned philanthropic leader with experience managing complex grantmaking portfolios and driving a policy agenda focused on improving the public good through systematic change.

Her community involvement has included serving as a board member on many local and national boards, including currently serving on the national policy advisory committee of the Council on Foundations and the Board Chair of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.

Dr. Lopez received her Ph.D. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
