Chief Financial Officer
Margaret Danuser joins The Denver Foundation after spending more than six years with the City and County of Denver as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief Financial Officer. In those roles, she managed seven divisions and approximately 500 employees focusing on collaboration, process improvements, employee engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
Danuser has previously served in roles as the director of finance at the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, where she oversaw treasury and housing finance functions, and as a portfolio manager and fixed income specialist at Dreyfus Founders Fund, one of the largest, trusted cash and liquidity managers in the industry.
Danuser was born in Colorado and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
