Cameron Holland Scholarship Fund

The Cameron Holland Memorial Scholarship is established to remember Cameron and recognize a Ralston Valley senior student who has established academic, athletic and character traits that are complementary to Cameron’s memory. Cameron was dedicated to academic achievement, participated in football and track and had a kind and generous personality.

Eligibility

  • A senior at Ralston Valley High School committed to the pursuit of post-secondary education
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the start of their senior year
  • Participated in a minimum of two sports (those listed by CHSAA). One of those sports for a minimum of 3 years and varsity lettered in at least one of those sports.
  • Has demonstrated a kind (of a sympathetic or helpful nature) sensitive (delicately aware of the attitudes and feels of others) and respectful (to feel or show esteem or honor for someone or something) personality. Evidenced by a minimum of 2 letters from faculty, staff, administrator, or coach that support those personality traits through direct observation and experiences.

Selection

Scholarships will be awarded once each year through a competitive process based on academics, athletic engagement, and demonstration of kind, sensitive, and respectful character.

Award

One student per year will be selected to receive a scholarship. This is a one-time award and the amount will vary. Scholarship awards will be paid directly to the recipient’s school and can be used toward tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other qualified educational expenses. Award disbursement is contingent upon the financial aid and scholarship acceptance policies of a recipient’s school.
