In our ever-increasing digital world, it’s a refreshing experience when you get to see people in person and shake hands in solidarity.
We recently hosted a donor connection happy hour in our building. The evening was filled with insightful conversations, delicious appetizers, and an opportunity to build connections with others who have been critical to supporting our mission at The Denver Foundation.
The event was held in The Denver Foundation office, where attendees had the chance to explore the space through guided tours, uncovering the rich history that grounds our work in the community. Three Tomatoes Catering provided an amazing array of food and drinks, setting the stage for engaging discussions and connections as the evening kicked off.
One of the highlights was a candid Q&A session with our CEO, Javier Alberto Soto. This interactive exchange allowed attendees to gain insights into our strategies, challenges, and vision for the future. We dove into The Denver Foundation’s key focus issue areas and our commitment to address pressing and emergent community needs, including our efforts to support our unhoused neighbors.
The donor connection happy hour was a celebration of collaboration and the power of philanthropy. We extend our gratitude to all our fundholders who partner with us and who contributed to the camaraderie of the evening. If you missed out this time, stay tuned for future events, updates, and stories from The Denver Foundation.
