Announcing the Reisher Graduate Scholarship

April 2, 2025

With spring comes new beginnings, and The Reisher Scholars Program is thrilled to announce a new Reisher Graduate Scholarship opportunity! Reisher Scholars can now apply for a scholarship to complete a master’s, certificate, or licensure program.

Opening April 11 and closing June 6, 2025, you can apply for a scholarship for the fall 2025-summer 2026 academic year.  Eligibility is simple:

  1. You’ve received any Reisher Scholars Program funding in the past, even if you didn’t complete that program at the undergraduate level, AND
  2. You plan on attending a master’s, certificate, or licensure program at an accredited Colorado institution

If the timing doesn’t line up with your plans, that’s ok – there will be other chances to apply.

  • Cycle 2: spring 2026 – fall 2026 academic year. Application opens Sept. 12, 2025, and closes Nov. 7, 2025.
  • Cycle 3: summer 2026 – spring 2027 academic year. Application opens Feb. 20, 2026, and closes April 17, 2026.

Scholarship award amounts are divided into three tiers: $5,000, $12,500, and $20,000. The amount awarded will be determined based on the applicant’s financial need for the specific program reported in the application. Anyone eligible and interested can apply directly on The Denver Foundation’s website.

The Reisher Scholars Program has helped more than 2,500 undergraduate students complete their degrees. Over the past 24 years, the undergraduate-level Reisher Scholars Program has grown and adapted to the ever-changing needs of students. We heard your feedback and interest in post-graduate programs, and we listened.

Roger and Margaret Reisher started this scholarship program because of their own experiences and how their higher education impacted their careers and success. As a way to acknowledge and reward the hard work of the alumni of the Reisher Scholars Program, The Denver Foundation and the Reisher Scholarship Committee are overjoyed to offer this opportunity to those wanting to pursue a master’s, certificate, or licensure program in Colorado and deepen the connection amongst alumni.
