Make Your Mark Scholarship (UA1)

Make Your Mark Scholarship is available for current full-time RedPeak employees, immediate family members of employees, or residents of a RedPeak Property seeking to pursue post-secondary education for the upcoming academic year.

Eligibility

• Be a current full-time RedPeak employee, an immediate family member of a RedPeak employee, or a resident of a RedPeak community.
• Be a high school graduate
• Planning to begin classes at an accredited vocational/technical school, 2-year, or 4-year institution in the United States in the upcoming academic year.
• Demonstrate financial need

Selection

Scholarships will be awarded once a year through a competitive process based on: 

• academics 
• extracurricular activities and leadership 
• scholastic potential 

Additional information

Scholarship awards are one-time awards. The amounts awarded to a selected recipient may be used for tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, and any additional cost of attendance expense. All scholarships will be paid directly to a recipient’s college, university, or accredited trade school and must be used for the upcoming academic year. Award disbursement is contingent upon the outside scholarship policies of a recipient’s college or university.

How to apply 

1. Read through the eligibility to confirm you meet the requirements for the scholarship opportunity  
2. Prepare and submit the following items:  
   1. List of all extracurricular activities, community volunteering opportunities, and paid/unpaid work experiences you have had  
   2. Transcript  
   3. One essay  
      1. Please describe what you would like to study in college, what inspired your interest in this area, and what you hope to achieve with this degree.  
   4. Two letters of recommendation  
      1. One academic recommendation letter  
      2. One community recommendation letter
