Belonging Colorado

Belonging Colorado is a bold statewide initiative powered by a special fund at The Denver Foundation. It brings Coloradans together across lines of difference—race, ethnicity, income, political affiliation, age, and more—to foster stronger connections and a greater sense of belonging. 

At a time of increasing social, economic, and environmental challenges, building bridges across differences is essential to support the long-term resilience and well-being of communities across our state.

Belonging Colorado supports organizations and leaders across Colorado that are turning belonging into action. The initiative works with: 

• Community-Based Organizations: Providing grants and support as they implement high-quality bridging programs across the state.  
• Leadership Networks: Training leaders and strengthening their capacity to foster bridging and belonging in their communities.  
• Social Entrepreneurs: Partnering with innovators to launch bold, scalable ideas that connect Coloradans across differences. 

These efforts work together to foster meaningful connection and belonging across the state.
