Scholarship Opportunities

The Mark K. Ulmer Memorial Native American Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Mark K. Ulmer, a former attorney with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development who worked extensively with Native American programs.

The Never Forgotten Scholarship was established in 2001 by iHeartMedia, Inc. (formerly Clear Channel) at The Denver Foundation to honor the lives of the 13 victims at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. This scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors in the 7-county Denver Metro Area.

 The Painter Service for Others Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate juniors and seniors pursuing degrees in teaching or social work at a Colorado-accredited four-year institution, including students transferring from a community college.

Parkinson Association of the Rockies, along with the family and closest friends of Eric Wright, will honor his legacy and recognize Eric’s lifelong dream of being a constant and present figure in his family’s life with the annual Eric Wright Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Raymond and Velma Merkle Scholarship supports first-generation college students from Manual High School who are active in their school and community.

The Denver Foundation Community Scholarship was established to support first-generation, economically disadvantaged college students pursuing post-secondary education. 

The Mary J. Mullarkey Scholarship supports students of color, women, and LGBTQ+ students graduating with an undergraduate degree from an accredited Colorado college/university or from St. Norbert College.

The Viking Scholarship provides a scholarship to a graduating North High School or North Engagement Center senior who will be attending Metropolitan State University of Denver or any public Colorado community college or technical school.

The Winifred R. Reynolds Education Scholarship was created to support students pursuing graduate degrees focused on early childhood education (ECE).
